KST Kicks Off the Year with Successful Educator Retreats.
The year 2024 started on a high note for the KST with the successful hosting of two educator retreats aimed at fostering professional development and collaboration. These retreats were part of KST’s ongoing efforts to support educational excellence in South African schools.
Boshof Combined School in Lejweleputswa district was the first to benefit, with their retreat taking place from 26 to 28 January 2024. This event brought together over 10 dedicated educators who engaged in a series of workshops and team-building activities designed to enhance their teaching skills and build a stronger school community.
The focus was on innovative teaching strategies, effective classroom management, and ways to support learner well-being.

Shortly after this, Kareerville Primary School in De Aar held their retreat from 9 to 11 February 2024. Similarly, this retreat also saw more than 10 educators coming together to share best practices, participate in skill-building sessions, and develop action plans for improving learner outcomes.
The sessions emphasised curriculum development, integrating technology into the classroom, and strategies for engaging parents and the wider community in the educational process.
Both retreats were highly praised by participants for their comprehensive programs and the valuable networking opportunities they provided. Educators left feeling inspired and better equipped to tackle the challenges in their schools.
The retreats also underlined KST’s commitment to enhancing education through continuous professional development and support for teachers.
As KST looks ahead to the rest of the year, these retreats set a positive tone for further initiatives and collaborations aimed at driving educational improvement.
The success of these events reflects KST’s unwavering dedication to making a meaningful impact in the lives of educators and learners alike.
